Consumer prices in Hungary rose by an annual 2.1 percent in July, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday. As in June, prices were unchanged in a monthly comparison. Twelve-month CPI picked up from 1.9 percent in June and was slightly over analysts’ estimates. more »

Hungary’s Trade Surplus EUR 1.06 Bn In June
Hungary had a 1.06 billion euro trade surplus in June, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in the first reading of data on Tuesday. The surplus was down 97 million euros from the same month a year earlier. Exports rose by an annual 4.5 percent to 8.820 billion euros. Imports were up 6.5 percent at 7.760 billion euros. more »
