The Finnish and Estonian Ambassadors, First Secretaries from the Embassy of Portugal and Romania, and the mayor of the Polish partner village were also present at the event.
The celebrations took place in the Europa Park where member states are represented by a tree and a memorial stone. The patron of the park is Edit Herczog MEP.
To the invitation of the mayor, Mrs Szenczy, the Embassy's delegates planted a memorial tree for the UK in the park. It was followed by local/regional cultural performances and a taste of the "halapi" dough and wine."
