Like other good resorts in Bulgaria, Sunny Beach has been purpose-built to accommodate the many local and international tourists who flock here to enjoy the sea and fine sandy beach during the warm weather seasons.
Perhaps as important as the great location is the fact that the staff and managament are superb at the Helios Palace. The hotel has two pools, both have children friendly areas, one hosts activities for most of the day while the other offers a place for quiet sunbathing.
Inside the hotel is definitely 4*, there are sea-view rooms available for a premium, and all guests receive a superior all-inclusive package which incorporates the following and more: Full Board, Afternoon snacks and pastries, Soft drinks, local and a selection of international alcoholic drinks, Daily Activities and Entertainment.
Also many day trips are available to local places of interest, such as to the wonderful town of Nesebar which is just a short ride from the hotel. For a small fare you can even take the local bus to this World Heritage Site, so there is no excuse not to see this attraction which is one of the oldest settlements in Europe.
Sunny Beach itself is a natural semicircular bay with calm warm waters - ideal for swimming as well as more adventurous activities such as paragliding and jet skiing. Also there's a tranquil park and a popular pedestrianised promenade - a hive of activity lined with stalls and snack joints.
Nearly all of the many TripAdvisor reviews of the Helios Palace property are very positive, and its related popularity Index ranks a very respectable 10 out of 194 hotels at Sunny Beach
