Red Bull Air Race In Budapest Scrapped This Year
"The Red Bull Air Race held annually on August 20 has been cancelled, as the National Transport Authority has deemed it too risky and refused to issue a temporary permit for the use of air space over the Danube.

Bernd Loidl, executive manager of Red Bull Air Race, expressed disappointment, as well as hope that Budapest will again be included in the world championship next year.

Organisers announced that the race was deleted from the competition because the licensing procedure had dragged on too long."
