'The Night Of Researchers', Budapest Millenáris, 24 September
"‘Researchers’ Night’ is a pan-European event involving a wide range of scientific and research organisations – including laboratories and academic institutions – hosting a variety of entertaining and fun events running late into the night of Friday, 24 September.

Researchers' Night – Let's Play Scientist For A Night!

„I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” Einstein

This scientific and easy night encourages closer contact with researchers and intends to break down stereotypes and bridging the gap between researchers and the public. ‘Researchers’ Night’ events will include ‘open-house’ evenings at research facilities or academic institutions allowing an exclusive ‘behind-the-scenes’ glimpse of the research profession at work, while the ‘science in the streets’ activities will demonstrate the concrete applications of research findings or to highlight the appeal of pursuing a research career - in particular for young people and children.

Unveiling labs secrets, playing researcher for one night, dating researchers, exploring the Poles or discover the mysterious volcanos …everyone will find what he/she is searching for in the broad range of activities planned during this famous evening of 24 September… You should not miss the opportunity to meet researchers within the context of festive activities and spectacular experiments!

‘Researchers’ Night’ provides a fascinating insight into the current worlds of science, technology, industry and humanities. In Budapest, Millenáris will host the central programme and as a nationwide event, you can check what the excitement is about in 23 cities at 28 venues.
