America Day In  Mezőberény, Hungary
"On September 30, a group from the American Embassy and the Hungarian-American Partnership Association travelled to Mezőberény to attend the "America Day" program organized by Petőfi Sándor High School. Approximately 500 students participated in the day-long program.

Among the events, Consular Officer Eric Schnotala gave a presentation titled "An American Diplomat’s Life," Regional English Language Officer Lisa Harshbarger worked with 20 English language teachers, Science Affairs Assistant Tibor Kovács spoke on sustainable development and Fulbright Educational Adviser Nelly Litkey briefed the students on American higher education and CV writing.

The President of the Hungarian-American Partnership Association opened a photo exhibition on the United States and in the afternoon two American members of Szolnok city basketball team stopped by to work with kids."
