Record-High Winds In Hungary Wreak Havoc
"Gale-force winds, at times reaching a record 172km per hour, caused chaos throughout Hungary on Thursday, blowing Lake Balaton waters onto streets and gardens in several towns on the south shore.

Elsewhere, falling trees and electric poles caused power cuts, some falling on rooftops in several areas of the country.

Fire-fighters were busiest dealing with storm-related problems in Baranya, Heves, Somogy and Veszprém counties.

The 172km per hour winds in the Bakony hills broke the previous record of 160km."
