Few Willing To Assess Plagiarism Case In Hungary
"Semmelweis University appears to be having considerable trouble establishing a commission of competent, prestigious and independent members to investigate claims that President Pál Schmitt plagiarised large parts of his 1992 doctoral thesis.

Professors and researchers familiar with the topic and with a good command of French keep rejecting the request one after the other, Népszabadság writes, apparently because of the delicate political nature of the matter.

The university hopes to form its panel this week."
