Hungary's Health State Secretary Offered To Raise The Monthly Salaries Of Trainee Doctors
"Health state secretary Miklos Szocska offered to raise the monthly salaries of trainee doctors by tens of thousands of forints at last week's wage talks. The medical interns federation MOSZ has insisted on a net increase of Ft 100,000.

Interest bodies including the Hungarian Doctors Federation will in the coming days discuss whether the sum is sufficient for suspending protest actions.

MOSZ president Janos Belteczki said Szocska's Ft 30 billion wage offer is acceptable as a first step if the wage rise grows to a net Ft 100,000 by January 1, 2014."
