Restaurant Review: Budapest's Only Egyptian
Nilus Restaurant appears very humble, and even a bit dull from the outside, but the quality of the food is excellent according to an Egyptian traveller. From the outside you can only see a shawerma pole and a large picture of the Sphinx. It goes without saying they sell various specialties from Egyptian cuisine such as special shawerma (doner) sandwiches, and they have an extensive grilled meat menu for guests opting for the dining-in option.

The location is good for a tasty bite if you're going to, or coming from, Arena Plaza Budapest - say for a snack on your way to the mall, or an easy post-cinema meal to talk about the film in a homey Egyptian environment.

Overall, it's a place to go for a taste of Egypt rather than for "1001 Nights" style atmosphere.
