Yvette Bozsik Pulls Out Of Trafó Budapest Position
"Yvette Bozsik, who was to take over as director of the Trafó cultural institution from July, has offered her resignation to Budapest mayor István Tarlós. City Hall confirmed the report, adding that the city is dealing with the matter.

Bozsik, a controversial choice for the position, could not be reached for comment.

Tarlós told Inforádió Tuesday evening that Kossuth Prize-winning choreographer dancer Bozsik “had been exposed to such brutal and ignoble attacks from a sphere of people who call themselves liberal that she said her family life and her children matter to her more than to suffer a breakdown”.

Tarlós said new applications for the post will be invited.

Bozsik was selected in January over the only rival applicant, György Szabó, who has run Trafó for 13 years, and was supported by many Hungarian and international artists."
