Hungarian company Marchfeldrasen will begin exporting and laying down grass in football stadiums in Wroclaw and Poznan, Poland, in preparation for the European Football Championship, said owner Gerhard Hegyi.

“The UEFA-appointed independent consultancy STRI found our grass meets the extremely strict requirements,” he added

Marchfeldrasen produces nearly 100 hectares of grass in Felsőpakony, Pest county.

It has delivered grass to stadiums in Salzburg, Austria, to Ploiesti, Romania, and to Ljubljana, Slovenia, as well as domestically to the Videoton stadium in Székesfehérvár and the Puskás Akadémia for football in Felcsút, the home village of Viktor Orbán.
