Invitation: Ujj Zsuzsi, MissionArt Gallery Budapest, Until 19 May
Ujj Zsuzsi’s third solo exhibition will be opened in the MissionArt Gallery 25 years after her first exhibition in the Liget Gallery. Her pictures might be a great surprise for us because only a small circle of professionals and her friends have been familiar with her artistic activity. Her works were rediscovered not only in Hungary, but abroad as well, when they were displayed in the Gender Check exhibition in MUMOK, Wien in 2011.

Her artwork will be exhibited this autumn at A Bigger Splash: Painting after Performance Art exhibition of the Tate Modern in London, among pieces of such celebrated artists as Jackson Pollock, David Hockney, and Cindy Sherman.

At the same time Ms Ujj’s first volume of poems: Versek és dalok (Poems and Songs), as well as a catalogue on her art (with an introduction-study written by Oltai Kata) will be published, too.

Her large black and white photos will be shown in the MissionArt Gallery (H-1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 30)
