Community Announcement: Bicycle Training – Budapest
Critical Mass Budapest and the Hungarian Downtown Cycling Club (a Kerékpárosklub Belváros) hosts regular, 2-hour long, free bike trainings for those who are new to the city's roads and want to try it out (but not alone!), who want to learn more about Hungarian traffic laws, and who would like to ask local experts about bicycling best practice in Budapest. Sessions are every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, same time, same place. This event is for adults and children over the age of 12.

The training is in Hungarian, but there are English-speaking volunteers available to help with interpretation during the training. If you are interested in attending and would an like English-speaking training, please RSVP for this event!

Learn about :
- Tips for home to office/school commuting
- How to be safe and feel comfortable on the road (especially now that cycling on the sidewalks is illegal in Hungary!)
- Signaling, road signs and how to use bike lanes or best strategies where there are no bike lanes

Upcoming session: Sunday, 24 June 2012

Time: 2 – 4 PM

Meeting point: Podmaniczky Frigyes tér (Arany János utca metro stop)  - Map
