Hungary's Foreign Minister Martonyi Goes To Meet US Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton
Foreign Minister Janos Martonyi is scheduled for talks with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during his three-day visit to Washington that began yesterday.

Martonyi will take part in a panel hosted by foreign affairs institute the Atlantic Council and also meet senior executives of major US companies.

Martonyi will make a speech at a banquet marking the 90th anniversary of the start of Hungarian-American diplomatic relations and the 56th anniversary of the 1956 Uprising.

He also plans to make a contribution at a meeting organised by the Council on Foreign Relations.

Martonyi is slated to meet representatives of the ethnic Hungarian community and formally instate Daniel Hughes as honorary consul in New Orleans.
