Invitation: NAWA Event With Andras Török, Dover School Budapest, 2 October
NAWA invites you to join us at our October meeting in welcoming well-known Budapest personality, author and international speaker Andras Torok talk about the Confessions of a Guidebook Writer: What's Changed in Budapest Since the Fall of the Wall, and Who is Simplicissimus, and Why He Is Needed?

In it's sixth edition, his Budapest, A Critical Guide, has been called “possibly the truest, most personal, and funniest insider’s city guide ever written”, an “írreverent, practical and intimate guide to Budapest” and “a loving and learned essay that captures the soul of the city”. Take a peek behind the scenes of contemporary Budapest as seen through the eyes an insightful journalist, historian, former Deputy Minister of Culture, and longtime Budapest observer and guide.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, October 2, 10:00am. - 12:00p.m. at the Dover School, Kiraly utca 9 in the VIth district. Press gate code 2 to ring us, and come to the first floor. There is a small fee for non-members. You'll also find snacks, coffee, local vendors and camaraderie. And free babysitting provided by Under The Rainbow Pre-School.
