Hungary's LMP MPs Will Do Public Work
LMP MPs have opted not to pay the Ft 100,000 per person fine following their demonstration in the area of construction company Közgép in Budapest but will do 120 hours of public work instead.

The party announced the decision at a press conference where the MPs wore badges saying, “They steal, we work.”

MP Réka Szabó will start this work as a guide and room supervisor at the Natural History Museum, as she is a biologist.

LMP is collecting money from the public to pay the fine of non-MP activists also present at the demonstration against nepotism and corruption. “We do not want to give money to those who will transfer it to oligarchs,” the party commented.
