Hungarian Households Pile Into State Bonds
The total value of government bonds owned by households rose to Ft 1.1 trillion by the end of February, state debt manager ÁKK announced. Retail investors invested Ft 66 billion in government-backed securities last month.

Interest-bearing treasury bonds were the most popular form of investment, accounting for Ft 45.6 billion of the February bond sales.

Households subscribed a record Ft 18.2 billion of the three- and five-year forint bond PMÁK.
