Mick Hucknall Concert, Budapest Sportaréna, 25 March
Mick Hucknall announces his first solo tour 'American Soul' in 2013. This hails the beginning of a new chapter for ex-Simply Red frontman Hucknall after their triumphant sell-out Farewell Tour in December 2010. Mick Hucknall founded, fronted and named Simply Red, during the 25 years of their career had sold over 50 million albums and had played to more than 10 million people.

On what promises to be a series of very special and intimate nights in Hucknall's phenomenal career, he will showcase his forthcoming new solo album 'American Soul', featuring his own take on classic songs which have inspired him throughout his life.

Mick is renowned for his great interpretations of others' songs, having already had global hits with Money's Too Tight To Mention, If You Don't Know Me By Now and You Make Me Feel Brand New. The start of Hucknall's solo career gives him free rein to record, together on one album, his favourites from his own personal journey through the American soul genre including classic songs such as I Only Have Eyes For You, I'd Rather Go Blind and That's How Strong My Love Is.

As at the other tour stops, there will be a theatrical show in Budapest as well, with seated tickets that will mean greater demand for tickets.

Show starts at 8 p.m.
