Xpat Report: All Nations Lions Club Budapest Annual Charity Gala Concert
When you get an invitation to the Italian Institute of Culture, you know you are in for a treat. The annual ‘All Nations Lions Club’ event did not disappoint. The blind pianist Tamás Érdi had played a selection of classics from Brahms, Bartok, Debussy, to Liszt. This was not just a fabulous evening in a fabulous building, but it had a purpose.

The proceeds of the concert will support the talent development of children in state care here, and also the local "Music for the Blind" program. It was a joy to watch, and I feel it will bring joy to many more. And may this event keep playing for many more years to come.
