Event Report: World Dog Show In Budapest
We went along to Hungexpo last weekend, to see the “World Dog Show”. What better place to hold this event than in Hungary, where everyone seems to love dogs. They bounced around, strutted their stuff…..and that was just the owners. It was show time for their dogs, and our four-legged friends didn't disappoint. In essence, this was a beauty pageant for literally thousands of dogs and their proud owners. Hollywood for hounds, the tail-wagger Oscars, all rolled into one here in Hungary.

This special event actually accommodated more than 20,000 dogs, they came in all shapes, sizes and colors; with some I had never seen before, and some I had seen but not quite as 'dressed-up' as that.

This was their day, and both the dogs and their owners really enjoyed the event - and like true celebrities, “Rocky”, “Britney”, “Justin”, and many more –, no amount of posing for the cameras was too much, even if some were getting a little tired, as the show came to a close.

At the end of their day, they all just needed their limo to whisk them off home and spend time with something a little less taxing, like being fed and stroked.
