The holiday package offers on the website will be extended outside of Poland and Hungary after October, the company said.

Wizz Air teamed up with international partners, including Swedish-registered online travel agency Travellink for operating the website and US-based Expedia for hotel bookings.

The company expects the sale of 25,000 holiday packages in the first year.

In addition, Wizz Air announced the start of flights to Egyptian Red Sea holiday resort Hurghada from November.

The airline will keep the Budapest-Malta route on its winter schedule, as this destination is among the packages on offer via the online travel platform.
