Invitation: Street Food Show, Budapest, 6 - 8 September
The fresh foodstuffs of autumn’s harvest season are used in a varied selection of Budapest’s finest take-out temptations – from sizzling meaty treats to puffy sweet pastries – in the new Dining Guide Street Food Show, held on the elevated gallery of downtown Pest’s historic Hold Street covered market hall (Pest V, Hold u. 13, near the Arany János M3 metro stop).

Top urban eateries of diverse culinary styles offer all types of satisfying snacks made with high-quality ingredients, like crispy twisted ham-and-cheese bread by the gourmet Brót Bakery, some of the best Mexican meals found east of the border from Arriba Taqueria, succulent sausages from Hungary’s countryside grilled by KOLBice, New York’s heartiest stacked sandwiches served fresh by the Pastrami deli, and hearty American specialties from the Zing Burger food truck.

Numerous desserts are also available, along with great coffee, craft beers, and assorted Hungarian wines.

Admission is free.

September 6, noon-10pm; Sept. 7-8, 10am-midnight.
