Hungary's Sólyom Airways Funding Dries Up
Sólyom Airways has run out of money, talks with potential investors have failed, and the company is not able to pay September wages, János Lucsik, owner and CEO of Sólyom Holding, the company that owns Sólyom Airways, told 73 employees of the airline on Thursday afternoon.

Employees are owed some Ft 40 million.

Lucsik said the Sólyom Airways project will not stop, as owners will continue to look for investors.

The costs associated with the launch of the new airline are Ft 120 million, he said.

Sólyom has been trying to secure financing from investors since February. Talks with a potential investor from Oman failed in the spring, and now Oman Air has also backed off from the deal, ATV learnt.
