Press release: October the 3rd-6th Pálinka and Sausage Festival of Castle of Buda opens for the 7th time. In the spring, the best pálinkas of Hungary were on display in downtown Erzsébet square, this fall they return to their original surroundings, the Hunyadi Courtyard of Castle of Buda. The gastronomic journey will be complete with 25 pálinka distilleries and 10 sausage, wine and cheese makers.

Those that want to try their hands at pálinka blending will have the chance to blend their own pálinka at Rézangyal's. During the blending course, they will create their own blend of plum pálinka with its own unique scent, taste and strength using four different plum pálinkas.

This year, the festival hosts not only a country but a whole region. The atmosphere of the caribbean islands will be represented by food and special programs. Cocktails of the area will also play an important role with an emphasis of course on the guest-spirit of the festival, rum.
