Unemployment Under 10% In Hungary
According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) latest data for the third quarter of the year, the number of employed people is 4 million, while 434 000 are looking for jobs.

The number of working people in the 15–74 age group increased by 54 000 jumping up to 3.990 million in the period July–September 2013,a 1.4% increase compared to the same period last year. The employment rate of people aged 15–74 improved to 52.3%.

The number of employed people aged 15–24 rose by 1.7% and stood at 20.7% compared to last year’s data.

The number of unemployed people in the period July–September 2013 was 434 000, which is a 0.6% decrease compared to same period in 2012. This small decrease was enough to take the unemployment rate below 10% to 9.8%.
