Hosszú, Gyurta Voted Best Athletes In Hungary

Swimmer Katinka Hosszú received the Female Athlete of the Year award last night in a ceremony at the Syma sports hall in Budapest. The 24-year-old set new world records this year in the 100-, 200- and 400-metre individual short course medley.
Hungarian sports journalists chose swimmer Dániel Gyurta, world record holder in the 200-metre breaststroke, as the Male Athlete of the Year.
Both Hosszú and Gyurta have been named European Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World Magazine.
