One-Eighth Of Hungarians To Buy No Christmas Gifts - Tárki Poll
A total of 12% of Hungarians plan to purchase no Christmas gifts in 2013, a poll by the social-research institute Tárki showed.

Tárki said that 66% of those who indicated the intention to purchase Christmas presents in 2013 reported that they planned to spend the same amount of money on gifts this year as last year, while 28% reported that they planned to spend less money and 6% that they planned to spend more money.

Two years ago, 15% said they had planned to purchase no Christmas gifts, an identical Tárki poll said.

In 2011 half of respondents who intended to buy Christmas presents planned to spend the same amount of money on gifts as in the previous year, 46% were planning on spending less and 4% said they planned to spend more.
