Hubay Piano Transferred To The Museum Of Musicology In Budapest
The famous Hubay piano, which had been in the U.S. Ambassador’s residence for decades, has been carefully preserved and maintained by the American Embassy. In agreement with the Hubay family and the Institute of Musicology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the precious Bösendorfer piano was transferred to the Museum of Musicology on February 6, 2014, so that it could be enjoyed by a broader audience of Hungarian and international music lovers.
