Hungarian State Renationalises Antenna Hungária
State communications company NISZ has signed an agreement to buy 100% of broadcaster Antenna Hungária from French company TDF effective May 30, it was announced yesterday. NISZ, owned by state asset manager MNV, will pay Ft 55.9 billion for the company.

TDF announced that it would sell its broadcasting subsidiaries, including Antenna Hungária, in 2013, the Development Ministry said.

The state sold 75% of Antenna to Swisscom in 2005, which later purchased all remaining shares and delisted the company from the stock market.

Swisscom sold its entire Antenna stake to TDF in 2007 for Ft 80.7 billion.
