Hungary’s Regional Airports Expect Higher Passenger Numbers This Year
Hungary’s two biggest regional airports expect rising passenger numbers this year, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Friday. Passenger numbers at the Hévíz- Balaton Airport in the west of the country are set to rise to 35,000-37,000 this year, Hévíz mayor Gábor Papp told the paper.

Last year, 29,000 passengers used the airport. István Herdon, who heads the manager of Airport-Debrecen, in the east of the country, said passenger numbers would climb to 150,000 this year. Last year, the airport served 130,000 passengers.
