Hungary’s Election Office On Facebook

The National Election Office now has a Facebook page for first-time voters, with advice on the main points of the European parliamentary election. On May 25 around 500,000 young voters will be able to vote for the first time for Hungarian candidates to represent them in the European Parliament.
Among them are 13,000- 15,000 youth who were not yet eligible to vote in Hungary’s April 6 general election.
The election office first set up a Facebook page at the end of January, targeting young adults interested in the April election. The page is available at facebook. com/elsovalaszto2014.
