Hungarian Swimmer Hosszú Wins Three Medals In One Day
European champion Katinka Hosszú defended her title in the 200-metre medley, then immediately after the results were announced went on to win the gold medal in the 100-metre backstroke at the European Swimming Championships in Berlin on Thursday.

Not only that, but Hosszú was part of the team that later finished third in the 4X200 freestyle relay race.

Hungary took five medals on the day, as Bence Biczó won a silver in the 200-metre butterfly and defending champion Boglárka Kapás won a bronze in the 800-metre freestyle.

Hungary and Great Britain lead the medals table with four golds each.
