Xpat Opinion: Sövény Aladár Tea House Budapest – Relaxing Teas & Garden
Now at least you have one reason to stop for tea on the famous Andrássy street on your way to Heroes’ square, Városliget and Széchenyi spa. Sövény Aladár Teaház is the “tea house” of the so called Zelnik gold museum – a recently inaugurated private museum dedicated to South-East Asian cultures.

The private collection set in a mansion may not be worth the temples of Angkor but you can still have a look at unique golden Buddhas in the middle of Budapest’s upscale district.

Tea however is really for everyone!

Sövény Aladár is the perfect place to enjoy a very “feng-shui” environment with a little artificial pond, palm trees and comfy chairs.

There is a whole variety of teas to choose from: black, green, fruity… all served by the teapot.

So just forget you’re in the capital city and escape for a while, reading, writing, thinking, simply relaxing!
