IWC Budapest Activity: Trip To Fehérvárcsurgó-Károlyi Castle
Travelling on the M7 only an hour’s drive from Budapest, the ancient city of Székesfehérvár, offers plenty of history for tourists. The region’s geographical position served as an ideal place for the early settlers even in the age of the Romans. Major excavations and excessive restorations enable us to envisage the grandness of this town. A walk amongst the old streets takes us back centuries in Hungary’s history and the wealth of the Catholic church.

Lunch in the restaurant of the Károlyi castle followed with a guided tour of the castle. Travel through the back roads spotted with quaint little villages through to the M1 which will bring us back to the city by 6pm.

Cost: 12.000Ft ( incl. transport, lunch, castle tour and tips)
When: Tuesday September 30

Meet at 8.30am Congress Centre car park, Jagelló út behind the Novotel Hotel
