Closure Of Hungarian Tallinn Embassy Ill-Considered Move
- 1 Oct 2014 9:00 AM
Hungary’s closing its embassy in Tallinn was “not a sufficiently considered” move, the head of parliament’s foreign affairs committee said in an interview published by Népszabadság.
Zsolt Németh suggested that it was a bad decision from a cultural aspect, as well as in terms of its security policy message to the Baltics amid the Russia- Ukraine conflict.
It is important that the Hungarian foreign ministry should reconsider Hungary’s presence in Estonia, Németh said.
