Hungary's M0 Expansion Postponed
The government has postponed the planned construction of the 8km stretch of the Budapest motorway ring M0 between Budakalász and Pilisborosjenõ, leaders of the local governments were told by the Development Ministry after the local elections.

As the section would include two tunnels, the relatively high costs played a role in the decision, as 30-50km of motorway can be built on flat surfaces at the same cost.

The gap in the motorway ring in the Buda Hills is 26km long.
