Tobacco Retailers To Sell More Products In Hungary
A bill filed in Parliament on Monday evening will allow the licensed tobacco retailers to also sell chewing gum, candies and public transport tickets, as well as topping up prepaid mobile phone service balances.

The modification to the tobacco retail law admits that the decision to issue one retail licence for every 2,000 inhabitants overestimated demand, so this will be changed to one licence for every 3,000 inhabitants.

The bill also allows for the withdrawal of licenses where there are too many retailers and an agreement can be reached with the license holder.
