EU Funds Directed Against Poverty In Hungary
Food packages and staple items will be provided to those most in need from Ft 29-30 billion of EU funds and Ft 4 billion from the government, Human Resources Minister Zoltán Balog announced on Monday.

He said the aid packages will reach 250,000 people through aid organisations “with considerable experience”.

The food packages are meant for children younger than three years of age and their families, as well as the homeless and the elderly.
