Hungary’s Popularity On The Rise Among Exchange Students

Hungary tops a list of fifty countries which participate in an exchange student programme organised by the American Field Service (AFS). The AFS survey results are based on the responses of families and schools.
Hungary is host country to Turkish, Thai, Japanese, Italian and German students.
This year Hungary accepted 100 AFS students from 17 countries. Hungarian 13-19 year-old students have had the opportunity to travel to 25 other countries, the most popular destinations being the United States, Germany, France and Italy.
South America and Scandinavia are also popular, while the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica are new on the horizon.
