Ministry Says No Sunday Deliveries
Consumers will not be able to evade the impending ban on Sunday shopping by buying goods online, the Economy Ministry announced after news website Index raised the possibility. While goods can be ordered over the internet on Sundays, deliveries on those days will be banned, the ministry said.

Deliveries will also be banned between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

The Sunday ban applies to all retail activity, the ministry underlined.

The law is not clear as to whether the regulations also apply in the wholesale sector, but if they do, he added, then retailers’ regular working days will be affected.
