Consultations On Planned Budapest Hospital
Cabinet chief János Lázár called for the launch of consultations on a new hospital planned to be built in Budapest. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán expects Mayor István Tarlós and the Budapest Fidesz group to launch a joint initiative to ask Budapest residents about their opinion on current health services in the capital and potential avenues of development.

“Nothing has been decided,” he said. Commenting on reports about the possibility of closing Budapest’s Szent János Hospital on the Buda side of the capital, Lázár said building one hospital does not mean that another must be closed.
