Hungary Below Average In Satisfaction Survey
Hungarians are less satisfied with their quality of life than the EU average, according to a survey by Eurostat, the EU statistics office. Those interviewed were asked to rank various aspects of their life on a scale of one to ten. Overall, the EU average was 7.1, while that for Hungary was 6.2, level with Greece, Cyprus and Portugal.

Hungarians awarded the highest number of points, 7.6, to their personal relationships, and the lowest, 5.2, to their financial status.

Particularly happy with their life were Danes, Finns and Swedes, each with an average of 8.0 points. The least satisfied were Bulgarians with an average of 4.8.
