New Tent Camps For Refugees In Hungary
The first tent camps for migrants will be built near Nagybaracska, Borsod county and Nagyfa, Napi Gazdaság has learnt. This will be necessary as existing refugee stations are filled to capacity. Fidesz MP Zoltán Tessely asked the cabinet on Monday to draw up a plan for moving refugee detention centres out of towns.

Tessely told reporters that it is obvious on the basis of weekend data that illegal immigration is becoming a bigger problem.

Police captured 4,235 illegal migrants from Friday through Sunday.

This year more than 86,000 illegal migrants have crossed the Hungarian border unlawfully, Tessely said.

The Kúria meanwhile issued a guideline for courts, stating that courts must reject applications for residence from anyone who gives false data when applying for a residence permit.

This affects those who arrive in Hungary from so-called third countries, the supreme court added.
