Refugee Camps In Hungary To Receive National Security Institution Status
Refugee camps in Hungary are to receive national security institution status under a government decree currently being prepared, daily Napi Gazdaság said. Under the related decree, local councils will not be permitted to hinder the setting up of migrant reception centres and the construction of the border fence, the paper said. Several sections of the government decree on city development and construction are planned to be amended.

Once it enters force, the local councils will be expected to amend local decrees accordingly.

The interior ministry told the paper that the affected parties can receive information about the changes on the ministry’s website and from the local councils.

The court of Szeged in southern Hungary said that the national police headquarters would pay a total of 25.3 million forints (81,490 euros) compensation to landowners whose property the border fence crosses.
