Bicycle Path Construction In Hungary Resumes
Some 530km of bicycle path were built in Hungary during 2010-14, and the government has committed Ft 10 billion to further developments, Development Ministry state secretary László Tasó said yesterday in opening European Mobility Week. Construction of bicycle paths will begin at 80 sites, he added.

This year, some 177 municipalities are instituting a car-free weekend this Saturday and Sunday, 32 more than last year.

Organisers are expecting half a million visitors for the main events in Budapest on Andrássy Boulevard.
