L-E-V by Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar, Trafó Budapest, 18 September
Hot, sexy, rhythmic – fine movements, popping shapes, crooked elegance. L-E-V, co-run by Eyal’s artistic and her life partner Gai Behar, incorporates the Gaga dance language Eyal learned at Batsheva but also features Eyal’s trademark combination of androgyny, tribalism, and eroticism.

Behar, formerly an underground music producer who hosted alternative performances in Tel Aviv parking lots and basements, brings his own unique touch to the company’s artistic vision.

Their integration of technology and dance is equally suited for the Trafó stage or a techno club. This explosive company is the confluence of movement, music, lighting, fashion, art and technology – each uniquely expressive while emotionally entwined.

SARA is like a pearl in a treasure box of jewels, smells like ancient with the feeling of new. Be it white, transparent or leaking colors, it always remains a pearl.

Killer Pig – As if describing the roots of the creative mythology of L-E-V, it gives a glimpse into a temporary place where the group started: a place of minimalist expression, intense honesty and uncompromising physicality.

Post - Show discussion: on 18 September after the performance with Sharon Eyal choreographer and Ori Lichtik sound artist, moderated by Nóra Balkányi journalist. Everybody is welcome!
