International Day 2015 - At Britannica International School
Britannica International School held its annual International Day, to celebrate its multicultural atmosphere and diverse student community with an International Food Court, classroom country themed exhibitions, a Flag Parade and an amazingly colourful array of traditional outfits from all around the world.

The PSA (Parent and School Association) organised event brings students, teachers and families together and has been a tradition at Britannica for over 10 years.

There are over 40 nationalities within the school community; several of them were represented by a showcase of national music and instruments, activities and cultural plays. Students performed traditional tribal and folk dances from various countries such as Haka from New Zealand, Strip the Willow from Scotland and Hungarian Csárdás.

Gourmets could enjoy a large variety of delicacies of five continents, you could start your lunch with tasty German sausages, wash it down with some fantastic Thai pancakes, go on to a full Indian meal, have your dessert from Iran, and top it off with some good cheese from France, later you could go back from some good English tea and some good old American pumpkin pie.

The celebration’s grand finale was an astonishing Flag parade, where all the 46 country flags were carried around the building.

This long established event was once again a very popular experience for both students and parents and an important addition to Britannica International School’s life.
