An IT system failure at Liszt Ferenc Budapest International Airport early Tuesday morning left some 2,700 passengers stranded as 15 outgoing flights were delayed. Arriving flights were not affected, as the problem was with the software for checking in passengers and luggage. The problem was resolved by 10 a.m. Many passengers had to depart without their luggage, which was to be sent on later flights.
