Govt Could Set Minimum Sales Staff Requirement At Retailers
Hungary’s government is on course to draft legislation in the next two weeks which would set a minimum staff requirement for shops over 400sqm, business daily Világgazdaság said. The draft bill would require that retailers make at least one staff member available to shoppers for every 70sqm of space during business hours, the paper said. The possibility of such a measure could be a source of pressure at talks on wages between the government and employers, it added.
